Day 13 - Kyoto, second day
Wednesday was our last full day in Japan. Most of us went to the Toei Studio Movie Park where there was a large area of replica buildings used for filming and other attractions. This is next to a number of large sound stage buildings.

After the studio park we went to the Samurai Kembu Theatre for some basic training in how to use a katana and how to dress and walk as a samurai. I've always wondered how the sword was sheathed without cutting hands to ribbons, now I know.

We then went briefly to the shopping area of Teramachi-dori before meeting the other members of the group at the Shi Shin Samurai Restaurant. The food there was some of the best we'd had.
